Jackie Boatwright is an actress and a model, a licensed ordained minister and advocate for children's health and safety. She was Mrs. Georgia International, Mrs. Georgia 2016 and Miss Black America, Ga. and has graced the pages of Jet, Ebony and Money Magazine showcasing her work as an artist, speaker and advocate.  Jackie's life forever changed when her son, Juan, fell into a bucket of bleach and water at a daycare center when he was only 14 months old.  She cared for him for the 11 years following the accident that left him on a ventilator and brain damaged.  Jackie focused her attention on preventing an accident like this from ever happening again.  Juan's Law was introduced in Georgia, and at the time there was no law in Georgia that required daycare centers to have liabilty  insurance.  It is currently in the Senate waiting for passage at the federal level.  Jackie is currently starring in the No Shells Stage Play and the No Shells Legacy Tour based on her book of the same name.  It essentially deals with a group of 8, who are all shells and no substance!  There's a performance at Georgia Southern University June 30th.  For information call (912) 478-7999 and find more of Jackie's great work at: NoShellsStagePlay.com, Juanderfulproducts.com and of course, JackieBoatwright.com
